What's in this Workout?

How do we get work/life balance in a world where work/life balance is dead? In recent years the notion of work/life balance has been King. But can you really expect to be able to separate work and life - especially when work is such a big part of our 21st century lives? And with more and more people feeling stressed and pressured by both their work and home lives, is all the focus on time and stress management really helping?

The truth is, life is getting faster and faster and shows no signs of slowing down. Business is more competitive now than any other time in history! We are not being asked to slow down, but to speed up.

In the past we have relied on work/life balance, stress management and time management - techniques that have been institutionalised in organisations for years but have not solved the problem.

Stress management and time management have not stopped us from burning out and for too long we have been approaching work/life balance the wrong way. We are using the wrong metric to measure work/life balance; time. Time is not the answer. Instead we must learn to measure and improve our level of engagement.

In this high-impact seminar Dr Adam Fraser will give you the solution to survival in this fast paced world. You will learn that the key is to do more, not less and to learn to do it more effectively and with less impact upon yourself.

What will I get out of this workout?

  • An understanding of why we have been using the wrong metric to measure work/life balance and why time management and stress management don't work.
  • The knowledge of what the correct metric for work/life balance is and how this knowledge can impact upon your life in a positive way.
  • The ability to identify all the different environments that you have in your life and realise how you want to 'show up' in each environment.
  • An awareness that each area of our life has its own mindset and how that affects our level of engagement in each of them.
  • An understanding of your 'Third Space' and why this is the key to successfully transitioning between the different areas of your life.
  • Tools to enable you to identify your 'Third Space' so that you can get more balance in your life.
  • Insight into how adding in things rather than taking things away is an essential tool in finding balance.
  • Strategies to develop your Thoughts, Emotions, Energy Levels, Habits, Focus and Level of Engagement to obtain great harmony in your life and to gain balance and happiness.
  • The realisation of where your time actually goes in a day and the ability to practically get more time for yourself.
